Men's 9-Hole League

Welcome to the NFL!

The league will be divided into the AFC and NFC Conferences with teams put into divisions based on the number of teams. Like the NFL, there will be 16 regular season matches with divisional and wildcard teams advancing to playoffs, AFC/NFC Championships and eventual SUPER BOWL !

Weekly Wednesday Format (5:45pm shotgun):

4 players from each team will compete in match play against another team from their conference. The lowest 18-hole handicap player in each two player match reduces his handicap to ZERO and his opponent reduces his handicap the same amount of strokes. Take half of the adjusted handicap with the odd stroke given on the front nine and dot your card. Each 9-hole match will be worth 10 total points. 1 point for each hole won (1/2 point for a tie) and 1 point for the overall win. Teams with the most wins in each division will earn a playoff berth.Team with the most wins in each conference (not winning division) will earn a wildcard berth.

Ties for playoff spots will be based off:

• Head to head results
• Total points won
• Chip off

Substitutes are allowed as long as the member has an established MGA handicap. (Only league members are allowed to win prizes). All teams are responsible for filling out scorecards properly and turning them in to the Golf Shop or drop box in locker room. Rainouts will not be made up – Teams will be awarded a tie and points are split Payouts (shop credit):
